Work Poll

Last Saturday, the girls and I at work decided to have a little poll. Is Little Small a baby girl or a baby boy? Just less than a week until we know for sure! As you can see it was split 50/50. Yellow was my color b/c I don't have a totally decided side, but I am leaning a little more towards the left. Haha we'll see though, I really have no idea and will be completely happy no matter what Little Small is.
Team Pink is on the left and Team Blue on the right.
Can I just tell everyone how much i absolutely love these ladies! They are my very best friends and just as excited as I am about this little babe coming :) I really don't know what I would do without them.

The lovelies of Team Blue

And of course the lovelies of Team Pink.

Oh, Shout out on here to Leah! Love her! She's the one on the left in the above picture. She is the brilliant mind behind the nick name of 'Little Small' which every one uses. Let's be honest, it has a cute little ring to it :)

Be expecting another post quite soon after May 29th! We'll have had Court's Birthday, a California trip which is much needed with some best friends and of course boy or girl!!!!

This is gunna be a long one

A 2 months later update is not as bad as a year and a half later update right? Well, even though it's only been 2 months there is quite a bit to catch up on! Hence, this post is going to be a long one.

So lets just start with the big one....Baby Zulauf is on his or her way! Court and I am so excited. We'll know if our little small is a boy or girl on May 29th, a good little birthday present for Court :) Court is hoping for a boy(of course) I am completely happy either way. I just want to know already! November 8th will not come soon enough! It's been fun as we have started preparing what we need to get and do before our little small gets here. Here is a little look into how the pregnancy has been going.

5 WEEKS. Couldn't believe I was pregnant, but was so excited!
At this point I didn't really have any symptoms, I felt just the same.

8 WEEKS. Definitely started feeling a little different.
The nausea and upset stomach started at week 6 and man, that is definitely something I would not mind going without.
Favorite thing about this week, I had my first Doctor appointment and got to see my little bean and so did my little sister Kristen who came with me because Court had to work. I was so excited to see that little thing movin around, I just started laughing. I think Kristen was just as excited as me too. I got a picture for Court, my mom and dad and the fridge at work, haha obsessed much?
Around week 9ish, I could definitely tell a physical difference, no bump really but definitely a thicker waist.
Loved, loved, loved hearing the heart beat! It makes it so much more real!

WEEK 12 1/2
Got a little bump.
Now that we're almost to week 15 I see a huge difference. For those who know I'm pregnant they notice my bump a lot more, Others who don't know..haha I get the looks like is she??? or is it chub? Kinda fun. It's been a little hard being in this in between stage, just today I could only zip my Sunday skirt about half way as for the button on my jeans, HA! I think I can still button one pair.
Been very happy the morning sickness seems to be no more. It stopped around week 13. The nausea too has been much better! Only comes every now and then.

Court has been amazing through out the whole thing. He doesn't like the fact that my sense of smell seemed to have increased by like 100% haha I just tell him neither do I. Every where we go he says I always say 'Can you smell that?' He is so excited though and we have fun planing for our little guy or gal. I still can't even stand the sight of sweet pork(Court is a little sad about that one, no more cafe rio) mashed potatoes and cheeze-its. Besides that though, this has been an adventure that we are enjoying and I know we can't wait to be able to feel our little small move and of course to know what we're having! We feel so lucky to have so much support too, our families of course have been amazing and all the girls at work are soooo excited! I have loved that all my sister in laws have had babies so I can ask them anything and they have so much knowledge to share :)

Moving on, we celebrated my mom's Birthday on March 13th which was fun! I love my mom and am so happy to be close by her!

Unfortunately, Me and Court were both slackers with the camera and didn't get any pictures of Easter time. We had a blast though! Noel and Greg came down to Mesa along with Shelby and precious baby Presley and Kaye. We had a wonderful time and were so happy we got to spend time with everyone. We had fun having breakfast at Faith and Shauns and an egg hunt at Free Stone Park.

Another fun thing that happened in April was Rocky Point vacation! It was so much fun! Minus the fact that Court wasn't able to come because of work. Here are some pictures of the trip.

We had a fun group, all the brother and sisters except for Trevor who started his new job in Washington, and of course Courty. Aunt Kelly and Aunt T got to come though and they always make things more fun :)

My beautiful sisters

Mom and aunts favorite thing to do on this trip. Shop.

Our Weekend

Just this last Friday as I was about to make my monthly Costco trip there was a knock at the door. I knew exactly what it was about, Court had been reminding me all week. Now those of you who know Court well, this is probably not a big surprise to you haha. I'm still not sure how I feel about it. This is what our delivery was.

Don't worry we're only keeping two of them. Court is wanting us to have "Fresh eggs everyday!" Haha, I have to say the chicken coop he built in the back yard is pretty sweet and I can't wait until they're out there. The rest of the chicks are going to people in our ward who also want these 'fresh eggs'

After getting the chicks settled we headed off to Lane and Katherines (my aunt and uncle) to watch their kids for the weekend. We had fun watching them. Here are just a couple pictures of our time spent with them.

This is Addison, she is stinkin cute and definitely keeps you on your toes and always entertained!

Savannah made waffles for dinner one night, which I was very grateful for, and I have to say they were some of the best waffles I ever tasted! I didn't get pictures of Kayla or Connor but they were definitely there too :) We love our cousins!

A year and half later...

Well I do think the title of this blog post says it all...it's been awhile. I've been thinking for the past few weeks that I really needed to update my blog so I'm very excited to get started again! Of course, to catch up on a year in a half is a little impossible so I'm letting some pictures do the work.

Aw Rocky Point, Mexico! These pictures are from our trip in March 2011, this is a family vacation I look forward to every year! This one was even better because my Grandma Spencer got to come with us!

We went over to Faith and Shauns' to celebrate Cruzer's 1st Birthday in May. We have loved having Faith and Shaun in AZ with us. We are able to do a lot of stuff together and always have so much fun, and Court and I love playing with Cruz! He is our favorite little guy!

What is Summer without a family trip to Bear Lake?! We had the Lynch reunion this past August and it was a blast! Being in AZ we don't get to see everyone as much as we'd like so we love these family vacations!

We were so happy we got to get away in June to head up to good old Norco! Almost everyone was able to make that trip and it was so nice being all together again. We were especially grateful for the time we were able to spend with Marv!

While on the Norco trip in June Court and I left for a couple days to go to Disney Land! I hadn't been since I was 11 so needless to say I was so excited! We had a wonderful time! Shelby and Josh went with us one of the days we were there and it made Disney Land even more fun!

Some how we were able to take a weekend trip to our Cook family cabin in July with some of our best friends!

For the 4th of July we weren't able to go anywhere so we stayed and had a BBQ with friends who were in town also!

Me and my buddy Cruzer :) Me and Court have about 100 pictures with this kid, I'm pretty sure we take a picture of him every time we hang out with Faith and Shaun. We spend many of our weekends with them and always have a blast!

In October the Cook family took a trip to the Grand Canyon! It was so beautiful! Sad to say that was my first time going. We had so much fun spending time together and hiking. All the brothers and sisters were able to go except Tanner who was up at school.

In December me and Court went to a Suns game! Unfortunately this is the only pic I had on my computer around Christmas time, so this represents our December :) We had a great time together and a wonderful Christmas as well, which we got to celebrate with both sides of the family!

That about does it for catching up! I do want to add a couple more things that have recently happened...First my amazing sister Lindsay got married in November to Andrew. It was a BEAUTIFUL wedding and it has been so nice to have another married on the Cook side :)

The last thing I want to add is about Court :) Everyone is probably wondering what this picture at the bottom is about...well, Court got a new job in February working at a company called Vision Makers Int. They do stone work on custom homes, buildings etc. He works mostly as a construction manager and has loved his new job. It truly has been such a blessing for us!

Court also was able to take a dirt biking trip in Baja with his Brother-in-law Greg. Needless to say he had the time of his life! The trip sounded very intense and very Court like :)Thank you Greg too for all you did for him on that trip! It was a happy 6 days for Court and I'm so glad he got to go!

Well, this about wraps it up. And yes, be expecting more posts! We have some big adventures coming up ahead :)

Okay, i know it's been forever since i've updated. woops. By now I'm sure everyone think we are in our house, but unfortunately we're not. Court and I have never expected it to take this long, but it's okay. We are seeing a light at the end of the tunnel finally after 4 months of trying to close. So trust me, as soon as we close i think the whole world will know because we'll both be so relieved!

Anyway, since May things have been going well. Work has been going well for both of us. We were able to get up to my family's cabin for a weekend in may which was fun. Because of house stuff we have missed too many of our planned Utah trips this summer so we are so so so glad and excited for the wedding so that we'll get to see everyone! Shaun has been living with us since he's started medical school and it's been fun having him down here! We all went to Sun Splash the other day and had a blast! We're looking forward to having Faith and Baby Cruz come down this next week! Me and Court can't wait to meet our new little nephew! Hopefully Faith and Shaun will be able to find a beautiful little house down here! It's going to be fun to have some of the Zulauf clan down here and I know Court is very happy about it haha.

Not too much else is going on. I did try biking the other day and thought it was awesome. My dad took me out and we road about 15 miles. Not too much, but biking is definitely something you need to work up too. It was fun though and I'm planning to go with him again this week! I'm excited to have Lindsay and Kristen move back down here from Utah! I've missed them a lot! Court and I have enjoyed many bbq's this summer and we've been swimming a lot! It is sooooo hot here in July! It's been fun though and we can't believe summer is coming to an end soon.

I was talking to Court the other day and we can't believe it's already been almost a year since we've been married! So today i want to say i am grateful to be married! especially to my best friend and in the temple! We have learned so much and have had so many adventures together and we can't wait for what's ahead.

I can't believe May is already coming to an end! It amazes me all that can happen in a month! As far as the house news goes...everything is still looking great! Our loan should be out of underwriting any day now and me and Court are very anxious to have those house keys in our hands.

We're also very excited because we get to go to Utah memorial day weekend and see everyone we've been missing! We're so glad we'll be there for baby Sadies blessing and when Faithy has her baby!
We're also adding more turtles to our growing turtle family because guess what Court wanted for his birthday....water turtles! Who would of thought! haha. Anyway, it should be fun picking them out so we're looking forward to getting them.

Kristen, my youngest sister is graduating this Thursday too! CRAZY! Her and Lindsay are getting ready to move up to Provo and while I'm excited for them I'm going to miss them like crazy and tell them everyday they should've moved up earlier (like when I was there haha)

Work has been going well for both me and Court but we're looking forward for the couple days off we'll have in Utah. Court loves that school is out and is enjoying the summer! And we're both happy and excited for summer vacations coming up! We've had fun swimming and doing stuff with friends and family lately! I also knew exactly what i wanted to put for my grateful part today! So...This morning Court was being so funny...and i was thinking how grateful I am for a husband who makes me laugh so hard everyday! He's the best! I'm so glad we have so much fun to together!

New Adventures!

To begin...House news! Pictures are up, yay! So far everything is looking good with the fun loan stuff. Me and Court both cannot wait to just be done and get going on fixing it up! Marv told us about a great place to go and buy pretty much anything you would ever need to fix a house for very cheap! :) so we checked it out today and I'm pretty sure Court has a new favorite store.

We had a fun, random adventure the other day. Court and I decided it was high time we got our roller blades out and so out they came. Goal: roller blade to the store and buy ice cream. With a bladed mile down and the store in front of us Court turns to me with a huge smile and says "Should we roller blade to your parents' house?" and of course(because i would think this is a great idea) respond enthusiastically, "YES!"
Well... Five(yes, five) miles down, randomly ending side walks on busy roads, unlit streets, a free limeade from Sonic(thank goodness sonic felt bad for us, that drink we both swear made all the difference) and minimal accidents we made it to our destination and roller bladed proudly through my parents' entry way. Haha thank you mom for having pity on us and giving us a ride back home. Anyway...that was a fun time, and i recommend it to anyone :)

Now to end, April was a great month for us and we know May will be just as good! Court can't wait to finish school for the summer and to celebrate his Birthday! and we can't wait to get the keys to the house. I was thinking today what i should write for my grateful thing today..well there's two. With mothers day coming up this week I've been thinking lots about my mom and everything she's done for me. So i am so grateful for my mom! she has been amazing and has sacrificed so much for all of her kids! I'm also very grateful for my mother in law. I feel very blessed to be a part of her family and to have her as an example in my life!
My second, for tithing. As cheesy as it may sound...It has been a huge blessing in our lives and I know that that's why things have been working out for us!
Until next time!
