Okay, i know it's been forever since i've updated. woops. By now I'm sure everyone think we are in our house, but unfortunately we're not. Court and I have never expected it to take this long, but it's okay. We are seeing a light at the end of the tunnel finally after 4 months of trying to close. So trust me, as soon as we close i think the whole world will know because we'll both be so relieved!

Anyway, since May things have been going well. Work has been going well for both of us. We were able to get up to my family's cabin for a weekend in may which was fun. Because of house stuff we have missed too many of our planned Utah trips this summer so we are so so so glad and excited for the wedding so that we'll get to see everyone! Shaun has been living with us since he's started medical school and it's been fun having him down here! We all went to Sun Splash the other day and had a blast! We're looking forward to having Faith and Baby Cruz come down this next week! Me and Court can't wait to meet our new little nephew! Hopefully Faith and Shaun will be able to find a beautiful little house down here! It's going to be fun to have some of the Zulauf clan down here and I know Court is very happy about it haha.

Not too much else is going on. I did try biking the other day and thought it was awesome. My dad took me out and we road about 15 miles. Not too much, but biking is definitely something you need to work up too. It was fun though and I'm planning to go with him again this week! I'm excited to have Lindsay and Kristen move back down here from Utah! I've missed them a lot! Court and I have enjoyed many bbq's this summer and we've been swimming a lot! It is sooooo hot here in July! It's been fun though and we can't believe summer is coming to an end soon.

I was talking to Court the other day and we can't believe it's already been almost a year since we've been married! So today i want to say i am grateful to be married! especially to my best friend and in the temple! We have learned so much and have had so many adventures together and we can't wait for what's ahead.

I can't believe May is already coming to an end! It amazes me all that can happen in a month! As far as the house news goes...everything is still looking great! Our loan should be out of underwriting any day now and me and Court are very anxious to have those house keys in our hands.

We're also very excited because we get to go to Utah memorial day weekend and see everyone we've been missing! We're so glad we'll be there for baby Sadies blessing and when Faithy has her baby!
We're also adding more turtles to our growing turtle family because guess what Court wanted for his birthday....water turtles! Who would of thought! haha. Anyway, it should be fun picking them out so we're looking forward to getting them.

Kristen, my youngest sister is graduating this Thursday too! CRAZY! Her and Lindsay are getting ready to move up to Provo and while I'm excited for them I'm going to miss them like crazy and tell them everyday they should've moved up earlier (like when I was there haha)

Work has been going well for both me and Court but we're looking forward for the couple days off we'll have in Utah. Court loves that school is out and is enjoying the summer! And we're both happy and excited for summer vacations coming up! We've had fun swimming and doing stuff with friends and family lately! I also knew exactly what i wanted to put for my grateful part today! So...This morning Court was being so funny...and i was thinking how grateful I am for a husband who makes me laugh so hard everyday! He's the best! I'm so glad we have so much fun to together!

New Adventures!

To begin...House news! Pictures are up, yay! So far everything is looking good with the fun loan stuff. Me and Court both cannot wait to just be done and get going on fixing it up! Marv told us about a great place to go and buy pretty much anything you would ever need to fix a house for very cheap! :) so we checked it out today and I'm pretty sure Court has a new favorite store.

We had a fun, random adventure the other day. Court and I decided it was high time we got our roller blades out and so out they came. Goal: roller blade to the store and buy ice cream. With a bladed mile down and the store in front of us Court turns to me with a huge smile and says "Should we roller blade to your parents' house?" and of course(because i would think this is a great idea) respond enthusiastically, "YES!"
Well... Five(yes, five) miles down, randomly ending side walks on busy roads, unlit streets, a free limeade from Sonic(thank goodness sonic felt bad for us, that drink we both swear made all the difference) and minimal accidents we made it to our destination and roller bladed proudly through my parents' entry way. Haha thank you mom for having pity on us and giving us a ride back home. Anyway...that was a fun time, and i recommend it to anyone :)

Now to end, April was a great month for us and we know May will be just as good! Court can't wait to finish school for the summer and to celebrate his Birthday! and we can't wait to get the keys to the house. I was thinking today what i should write for my grateful thing today..well there's two. With mothers day coming up this week I've been thinking lots about my mom and everything she's done for me. So i am so grateful for my mom! she has been amazing and has sacrificed so much for all of her kids! I'm also very grateful for my mother in law. I feel very blessed to be a part of her family and to have her as an example in my life!
My second, for tithing. As cheesy as it may sound...It has been a huge blessing in our lives and I know that that's why things have been working out for us!

Excitement!

Why excitement??? Our offer got accepted on the house! Me and Court are so excited and both of us could not believe it when we found out! There's definitely some work that needs to be done but it is going to be beautiful! We can't wait to spend time together fixing it up and actually having space! Hopefully we'll have it freshly painted and ready to move into by the end of May.It will be such a wonderful change after the couple apartments we've lived in :) I'll be sure to keep posting updates on the house and get some picture of it up soon!

We were in California this last week, Saturday night to Wednesday evening. It was so fun to see everyone! Baby Sadie is so adorable and has the cutest head of hair i've ever seen! We(well ok, Zack, Court and Tyler) were able to finish the patio cover while we were there and it looks so good! They did a great job! We haven't seen Zack and Jenny forever too so it was so fun being able to see them again! I had a running partner this time too! Thanks Jenny! It was a good trip, we got a a lot done and had a lot of fun!

Today has been such a good day! It's been nice to have a whole day with Court and a relaxing one at that. Church was good, we made a yummy dinner watched Lord of the Rings and took a walk. We've had so much fun talking about plans for our future home. We went over to my parents house and thats always nice, especially when everyone is actually home and my dad :) Oh how I love them! Sundays are always my favorite.

Well to end, I have a whole little shpill for my thankful part of the blog...Life has definitely been keeping us busy lately and with that thing can get a little stressful sometimes. Anyway I was feeling a little over whelmed and had a little break down and of course here comes Court, who already has lots to deal with, and tells me how grateful he is for me and all I do. It made my day. I'm so grateful for such a good and hard working husband. We started talking today too about how blessed we feel we've been. We just kept naming blessing after blessing and let me tell you, do that and the good always out weighs the bad. So today I feel grateful for everything :) Especially the gospel, and that because of that we always have something to be hapy about even in the midst of hard times.

So it's amazing all that can happen in a week n' half! First off...the easter party was a success if I do say so myself. It was fun having a picnic and funny that, yes, we had an easter egg hunt which included a money egg, a whopping $1.87. Which Michael(chelsea's husband) won! Oh and we had prizes, good job to my love Court for finding all the prize eggs(no we actually didnt cheat either) All in all it was a good time.

Easter morning was fun too! I had Easter baskets for us and conference was great as always, followed by the traditional Cook family easter dinner of goodness and watching all the little kids hunt for eggs. It was fun playing with all of them. Little Addison is in love with Court and wants his full attention on her 24/7.

Now for some big news...we put an offer on a house! We are so excited and more excited that we found one we liked so much in time for the tax credit! It's a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath and has a beautiful kitchen! It needs a little work but thanks to my amazing husband who can do/fix pretty much anything, it's going to be amazing! We find out tomorrow if they accepted the offer, but we're pretty sure they will :) We also are going to CA this weekend and are very excited! It will be fun to see every one and to see Lacey's beautiful new baby!

Well i'm caught up on the news. We're both looking very forward to our new adventure-the house! And are so grateful that we can get one!

What a day! Work was good but crazy!!! I'm pretty sure every girl going to prom in AZ decided to come in to the store today to buy a dress, or just try on a lot for fun (lame) the very last hour of work. So I am happy to be home. Work was awesome for Court, he sold insurance like a champ today and made the most sales in the office! so proud of him! He went over to Steve's after to help him get all his four wheelers ready to go to the dunes. Court is such a hard worker, I really admire that about him. I met him over there and it was fun visiting with Shauna and Steve and seeing their kids. I think Court is going to go with them to the dunes this weekend and that will be fun for him because he hasn't gotten to ride his dirt bike in awhile.

We're looking forward to Thursday because we're going to have a little Easter get together, who says adults don't like to dye easter eggs??? We're going to have some friends over and have dinner and games and then go to the Easter pageant. I think it will be fun :)

So random, but I think every time I post something, I want to post something I'm grateful for...today I feel very grateful for mine and Court's jobs!

I want to be back in Mexico!

Wow, second blog entry already! I'm figuring this out! Court has already left to work and I should be getting ready but...i'll put it off a little while longer. We were talking this morning about how we should be in Mexico still(we recently went for spring break with my fam), always hard to come back to reality. As soon as we got back we got assigned our church callings, our speaking dates and there's always work and all the wonderful family stuff going on. Haha not the most fun adjustment, but we're glad we have things that keep us busy and all the blessings that come from it! Well i really do need to get going to work now. I'm going to try to post our Mexico pictures soon! Hopefully Sunday! Till then!

My frirst blog entry

So here I am writing my first blog entry at 10:00 at night. Why??? Well randomly I thought it would be a good idea to start. I meam cmon, when you're single you facebook, married..you blog. Actually I really thought it would be a good idea, kind of like a journal and a great way to share what's going on with friends and family. But I'm going to make this one short because I want to finish watching the 6th Harry Potter movie with my love. So until next time! and hopefully I'll figure out how this whole blog thing works!
